We are students of a Modern Novels class in Southridge High School. And we will be commenting about the book, THE HUNGER GAMES. THE HUNGER GAMES is the 1st book to the trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
I think this book would make an all right movie, but as a VIDEO GAME.. Daaang that'd be beautiful. The sense of adventure, you could play as Katniss, and run through the storyline by talking to all the different townspeople of district 12 before the Hunger Games began, and when shes on her way to the capitol, on the train, going to the training center, you could walk around and talk to the characters there, explore the training center, keep yourself alive by hunting in the woods in the arena with a hunger and thirst and energy bar, fully able to control Katniss' survival. Doesn't that sound fun?!
YES!!! x100000000 etc... 8D I would want to see this as a movie, but I usually find the books waayyy better than the movie, the producer and director better do a good job matching it with the book's details. The suspense and the deadly animals and moments would probably not be very suitable for young children so I'd think the rating would be at least PG-13 or so. I would look forward to the players hunt to kill each other, even though that seems disturbing, I think that would attract a lot of people to the movie. If it was in 3D, you don't know what I'd do to get a ticket.....
Yes i think would make a good movie. It would have a good storyline. The begining could just be Katniss hunting and introducing her. The sence would show how she is the provider and supporter of the family. Then sence about her way to the Hunger Games in the Train. Sence of her trianing with Gale and Haymitch. The killing sence and the romance withe Peeta and Katniss would make a movie worth watching.
I think it will be a really good movie because it has so many interesting things. At first Katniss showing how's her life first and then showing parts when they go in the train which i found some scenes funny and some parts serious. And show all the scene when all the young children are risking their life to go on a better one. If adding more details to the movie probably it will make people to keep watching it because it can make people to be strong and don't give up. i think it would be worth it.
Who nows? Honestly, I thought when the book Eragon by Cristopher Paoloni was made into a movie it would be amazing, but it all has to do with the director. If we were to look at just the plot, it would be an amazing movie. If they made sure to keep the mockingjays and the survival feel of the surroundings then it will make a great movie. Especially because it has a little for everyone, action, romance, and drama. They could make some tweeks to the plot so it's more of a movie story than a book and it would be amazing. I actually think this would be better as a TV series than a movie because it's very similar to lost and the things that play out would have to be noted and that may take more time than a movie has to offer. Plus the cliffhangers would be amazing because they're amazing at the end of each part in the book, so that's another reason why it should be a TV
